Welcome to the CReAtE Lab
We are a solid-state and materials chemistry laboratory dedicated to advancing sustainable catalysis. Our research focuses on three major domains: thermal, electrochemical, and photochemical catalysis, with an overarching goal of promoting green energy and environmental sustainability. Our thermal catalysis efforts involve dry reforming of methane, synthesis of dimethyl ether, ethanol, and syngas from CO2 and H2. In the electrochemical domain, we explore water splitting, CO2 reduction, and nitrate reduction reactions. We also engage in photochemical catalysis, and solar-driven hydrogen generation. At CReAtE Lab, we aim to design and develop advanced materials that drive energy-efficient and environmentally responsible chemical transformations.
